These creamy mint Oreo truffles are a quick and easy decadent treat combining crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and a refreshing mint flavor, coated in white chocolate for a perfect sweet bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon mint extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • Green food coloring (optional)
  • Sprinkles or crushed Oreos for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos using a food processor or place in a zip-top bag and crush with a rolling pin until finely crushed (about 1 to 2 cups of crumbs).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and mint extract. Beat until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add the crushed Oreos to the cream cheese mixture and mix thoroughly until the mixture sticks together like a thick dough. Add more cream cheese if too crumbly.
  4. Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a lined baking sheet. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second bursts, stirring after each until smooth. Add green food coloring if desired.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted white chocolate, coating fully. Let excess drip off and place back on the lined sheet. Sprinkle with crushed Oreos or sprinkles if desired.
  7. Let the coated truffles set at room temperature until chocolate hardens or refrigerate for about 15 minutes.

Notes

Soften cream cheese fully before mixing to avoid lumps. Chill truffles before coating to prevent them from falling apart. Use short bursts when melting white chocolate and stir frequently to avoid seizing. Add a teaspoon of vegetable oil to thin white chocolate if too thick. Roll truffles quickly but gently to keep shape.
