Thanksgiving Charcuterie Board - featured image

A stress-free, no-cook charcuterie board featuring a perfect balance of savory meats, creamy cheeses, and sweet seasonal fall fruits like figs and persimmons.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 wheel Brie or Camembert, softened to room temperature
  • Sharp Cheddar cheese, cubed or sliced
  • Gorgonzola Dolce cheese, crumbled
  • Prosciutto, folded into rosettes
  • Salami or Soppressata, sliced thick
  • Fresh Figs, halved
  • Fuyu Persimmons, sliced thinly
  • Honeycrisp or Fuji Apples, sliced into wedges
  • Red or Green Grapes, left on the stem
  • Walnuts or Pecans, toasted
  • Water crackers or seeded crackers
  • Honey or Fig Jam

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry all fruits thoroughly. Slice persimmons and apples into uniform wedges, halve the figs, and leave grapes on the stem. Place in a bowl if not assembling immediately.
  2. Toast walnuts or pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 3 minutes until fragrant. Let them cool completely.
  3. Place cheeses on the board, clustering them in different areas. Cut Brie into quarters, cube the cheddar, and crumble the Gorgonzola.
  4. Fold prosciutto into loose rosettes and place near soft cheeses. Lay out salami slices in a fan shape or stack them loosely.
  5. Fill empty spaces with fruits, placing apple wedges near cheddar and figs near Brie. Scatter grapes around the edges.
  6. Pour toasted nuts into small bowls or sprinkle onto the board. Place crackers in a stack or fan them out along one edge.
  7. Drizzle honey over the Brie and figs, and add a dollop of fig jam near the salami.

Notes

Take cheeses out of the fridge 30 minutes before serving to allow them to reach room temperature for better flavor. Keep crackers separate until serving to prevent sogginess. If fresh figs are unavailable, dried figs or apricots can be used.
