A healthy, no sugar added strawberry ice cream made with simple ingredients using the Ninja Creami machine. This recipe is creamy, naturally sweet, and perfect for guilt-free indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (300g) frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup (240ml) full-fat Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup (120ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 12 tbsp stevia or monk fruit sweetener (optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prep Your Berries and Base (10 minutes): If your strawberries aren’t frozen, slice and flash freeze them for at least 4 hours or overnight. Once frozen, add 2 cups (300g) of strawberries to a blender along with 1 cup (240ml) full-fat Greek yogurt, ½ cup (120ml) unsweetened almond milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tsp lemon juice, a pinch of salt, and 1-2 tbsp stevia or monk fruit sweetener if using. Blend until smooth but not watery.
  2. Transfer and Freeze (8 hours or overnight): Pour the blended mixture into the Ninja Creami pint container, spreading evenly. Seal tightly with the lid and place upright in the freezer. Freeze for at least 8 hours so the mixture solidifies fully.
  3. Process in the Ninja Creami (5 minutes): Once frozen solid, remove the lid and place the pint into the machine’s outer bowl. Lock it into place and select the “Ice Cream” function. The machine will spin and churn the frozen base into creamy ice cream.
  4. Check Consistency and Re-spin if Needed (2-3 minutes): If the texture is crumbly or icy, run the “Re-spin” function once or twice until smooth and scoopable.
  5. Serve Immediately or Store (optional): Enjoy right away for a soft-serve style treat or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for 1-2 hours for a firmer texture.

Notes

Freeze the mixture fully solid for best texture. Blend well to avoid icy chunks. Use full-fat Greek yogurt for creaminess. Re-spin if texture is crumbly. Can fold in chopped nuts or freeze-dried strawberries after processing for texture. For dairy-free, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut yogurt and almond milk with coconut or oat milk.
