Refreshing Frosé Frozen Rosé with Strawberries

Refreshing Frosé Frozen Rosé - featured image

A quick and easy frozen rosé cocktail blended with frozen strawberries, fresh lemon juice, and a touch of honey or agave syrup, perfect for summer sipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bottle (750 ml / 25 fl oz) dry rosé wine
  • 3 cups (about 450 g / 15.9 oz) frozen strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey or agave syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup (about 120 g / 4.2 oz) ice cubes
  • Fresh strawberries for garnish

Instructions

  1. If using fresh strawberries, wash, hull, and slice 3 cups, then freeze them overnight. If frozen strawberries are already on hand, no prep needed.
  2. Pour 750 ml (25 fl oz) of dry rosé into your blender. Add the frozen strawberries, 2 tablespoons (30 ml) of fresh lemon juice, and 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of honey or agave syrup.
  3. Add 1 cup (about 120 g) of ice cubes to help achieve a slushy texture.
  4. Blend on low speed, then increase to high. Blend for about 45 seconds to 1 minute until the mixture is smooth but still thick and icy, holding soft peaks.
  5. Stop and taste. Add more honey if you want it sweeter or a splash more lemon juice if it needs brightness. If too thick, add a little more rosé or lemon juice.
  6. Pour into chilled glasses and garnish with fresh strawberry slices. Optionally, add a sprig of fresh mint for color and aroma. Serve immediately.

Notes

Chill rosé bottle in the fridge for at least 2 hours before making. Blend in batches for groups to maintain texture. Avoid blending too long or with warm ingredients to keep slushy texture. If mixture melts, freeze for 15 minutes and stir before serving. For vegan version, substitute honey with agave or maple syrup. Add sparkling water for a lighter, fizzy variation.
